New Win2K Titles from O’Reilly
O'Reilly adds Win2K admin book, exam book covering core and design tests.
O’Reilly & Associates has announced the following books:
- MCSE in a Nutshell: The Windows 2000 Exams, by Michael Moncur
and Paul Murphy, 459 pages, $29.95 (ISBN 0-596-00030-8)—Covering the
four core Win2K exams plus the three Win2K Designing exams, this book
is intended to serve as a comprehensive study guide for the Win2K MCSE
candidate. The volume includes exam summaries, study tips, term definitions
and practice exams.
- Windows 2000 Administration in a Nutshell, by Mitch Tulloch,
786 pages, $39.95 (ISBN 1-565-92713-3)—Written for the advanced administrator,
this desktop reference details the daily administrative tasks inherent
to Win2K. Topics covered include Win2K installation, Group Policies,
Terminal Services, User Accounts, Microsoft Management Console, utilities
and TCP/IP networking. Commonalities and differences between Win2K and
NT 4.0 also are explored.
