Are You a Winner in Our MCSA Contest?

In a newsletter from Jan. 31, I announced a contest seeking early adopters of Microsoft's Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator title.

In a newsletter from Jan. 31, I announced a contest seeking early adopters of Microsoft's Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator title. (See "Microsoft: No Separate Security Certification," http://www.mcpmag.com/newsletter/article.asp?EditorialsID=83.)

Thanks to all who participated. The grand prize winner is Julian Ellis, of Stirlingshire, United Kingdom, who, by sheer luck, was number 218 among all valid entries. He will receive an MCP Magazine ball cap and desk clock, plus an MCSA-logoed cap and shirt and a Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit, compliments of Microsoft Press and the Microsoft Certification Group.

We then conducted a random drawing from all entries received:

  • Paul Brown, Jr.—Columbus, Mississippi
  • J. Adam Burden—Everett, Washington
  • Brian Richards—Severn, Maryland
  • Roger Johnson—Griffith, Indiana
  • Travis Webster—Blanchard, Oklahoma

Each runner-up will receive everything the grand prize winner gets, sans the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit. I also promised to honor the first 218 valid entries in a listing recognizing you as early adopters.
