Later this week, Microsoft's training and skills assessment group will release two new exams to shore up the developer certification tracks.

Later this week, on Sept. 19, Microsoft's training and skills assessment group will release two new exams to shore up the developer certification tracks:

Both exams can be used to fulfill core requirements for the MCAD.NET and MCSD.NET tracks. MCSD.NET candidates must wait until early next year to complete the requirements for that track — Exam 70-300, Analyzing Requirements and Defining .NET Solution Architectures won't be released until Feb. 2003, according to the Microsoft Web site.
