Developers can now use Microsoft Visual Studio .NET to develop and deploy their
Oracle Database 10g applications with the beta release of
Oracle
Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET. The plug-in component provides
tighter integration between Oracle Database and Visual Studio .NET and is available

Fortinet launched two new network security solutions
with FortiMail, a secure messaging system, and FortiGuard-Antispam,
a managed antispam service. Designed for medium to large enterprises and remote
branch offices, FortiMail provides virus and spyware protection and e-mail scanning.
FortiGuard-Antispam service helps companies of all sizes eliminate spam at the

Enterprise network security solutions maker StillSecure
announced it will support Microsoft’s Network Access Protection technology
with the integration of the extensible, standards-based architecture into Safe
Access, the company’s endpoint policy compliance solution. The

Housatonic Software has updated its Microsoft
Project Viewer solution with version 8, which features expanded multi-language
support. Other new functionality includes enhanced default and custom views,
support for subprojects, the ability to view nine levels of subtasks, export
to Excel, custom time-scale settings, and support for encrypted .MPP files.

A new version of the open source-based VPN client Astaro IPSec Client is now
available from Astaro. Astaro Secure
Client combines the encryption and authentication features of its previous
version with a personal firewall and an integrated dialer. The VPN client is
compatible with various VPN gateways and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
