From the business wires this week: a remote assistance tool for help desk professionals, anti-spam and anti-spyware solutions, and a Windows data recovery tool.
SupportDesk 8.2 from
NetworkStreaming, LLC features several new enhancements for the remote assistance tool. Support staff can now access a remote computer as an Administrator, allowing the technician to reboot and reconnect automatically; “push” SupportDesk to a remote system on a LAN or WAN and have the client agent automatically removed at the end of the remote control session; and leverage various reporting options, including the ability to capture the content of chat conversations and file transfers, as well as log the time spent per session.
