Vista, SQL Server BI Exams in Beta
Microsoft puts four new exam in front of testers.
Microsoft this month has released a number of exams into beta testing phase, including another slated for the new-generation Windows Vista track. Already under beta testing from now until Dec. 20,
70-622 PRO: Installing, Maintaining, Supporting and Troubleshooting Applications on Windows Vista - Enterprise is among two exams that count toward the new, higher level MCITP: Enterprise Support certification.

Also getting tested this month are two SQL BI exams:
- 70-445 TS: SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence - Implementation and Maintenance
- 70-446 PRO: Designing a Business Intelligence Infrastructure Using SQL Server 2005
Exam 70-445 has been in beta, with testing closing up on Dec. 21. Beta testing for Exam 70-446 starts Dec. 11 and ends Dec. 21. Both exams, which are the last of the SQL Server 2005 exams Microsoft announced earlier this year, are expected to go live in February 2007.

Noteworthy: Exam 70-620 TS: Windows Vista Client Configuration, already went in front of beta testers late last month and is already back into development. Slated to be released in live form at the end of January 2007, 70-620 counts toward the MCTS: Windows Vista certification.
